Pre-licensing Course Descriptions
All classes begin at 8:00 AM each day
Insurance Fundamentals:
No test on this material, but it is required of anyone not already licensed. This course is designed to give students an understanding of the basic concepts of insurance, risk management, and Minnesota State Law as it applies to insurance companies, agents and marketing.
Life/Health Insurance: Property/Casualty Insurance:
This course is required for anyone desiring a Life/Health license.
Prerequisite: Thirty-hour Insurance Fundamentals (Substitute: current license in Property/Casualty or previous license in insurance.) This course prepares a candidate for the Life/Health Insurance exams and fulfills the 15-hour requirement for the insurance examination.
